# CIS Benchmarks

> Use the CIS benchmark view where Cloudgeni actively exposes it, and read the coverage in the context of the provider-specific framework model.

# CIS Benchmarks

CIS coverage in Cloudgeni is more provider-specific than the older docs implied.

The current shared framework model explicitly wires **CIS OCI 3.0** as the active CIS benchmark
surface.

## What To Take From That

If you are working in OCI, the CIS page is a real operational lens for:

* Benchmark-oriented review
* Prioritizing benchmark gaps
* Organizing follow-up work before it moves into repository changes

If you are working outside OCI, do not assume the product exposes the same CIS benchmark experience
everywhere just because scanner data may contain CIS-like metadata.

## Best Use

Use CIS views the same way you use the other framework views:

* To organize findings
* To spot recurring control gaps
* To support review and remediation prioritization

## Next

Use [Cloud Compliance](/features/cloud-compliance) for the actual scan and findings workflow, and
[OCI Setup](/setup/oci-setup) if you still need to connect the account.
