# SOC 2

> Use Cloudgeni’s SOC 2 mappings to organize cloud findings by control intent and prioritize the remediation work that actually matters.

# SOC 2

Cloudgeni uses SOC 2 as a framework lens over live cloud findings.

In the current product, SOC 2 is actively mapped for AWS, Azure, and GCP in the shared framework
model used by the cloud compliance experience.

## What The Product Gives You

Use the SOC 2 view to:

* Filter findings by SOC 2 requirement mapping
* Review which controls are failing most often
* Export posture views for operational review
* Decide what should move into a remediation workflow first

## What It Does Not Mean

A SOC 2 mapping in Cloudgeni is not the same thing as a SOC 2 attestation.

Treat it as:

* A way to organize findings
* A way to prioritize control work
* A way to support internal review and evidence gathering

## Best Use

SOC 2 is most useful when you already have:

* Connected cloud accounts
* Recent cloud compliance scans
* A repository path ready for remediation work if needed

[AI DevOps](/features/ai-devops) when you are ready to turn findings into repository changes.
