Exoscale Setup

Cloudgeni connects to Exoscale with an IAM API key and secret and uses them to inventory resource metadata across the account.

Create The Integration

  1. Create a restricted Exoscale IAM API key with read access to the resources you want inventoried.
  2. Choose the target workspace, open Integrations, and select Cloud.
  3. Open Other and choose Connect Exoscale.
  4. Enter an integration name, the API key and secret, and the default zone.
  5. Save the integration and run a resource sync.
Supported default zones in the setup form include Vienna, Sofia, Swiss zones, Frankfurt, and Munich. The credential should be dedicated to Cloudgeni so it can be rotated without affecting other automation.

No compliance framework is currently mapped to Exoscale findings. Do not expect SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIS2, or CIS framework filters to appear for an Exoscale integration.

Troubleshooting

  • Authentication fails: verify that the API key and secret belong to the same active IAM key.
  • Resources are missing: expand the key’s read scope and check the selected/default zone.
  • The credential was rotated: update the integration with the replacement key and run another sync.
